Spring 2025 Apartment Sublet
I am going abroad Spring 2025 and am looking for another girl to sublet my room for that semester! I live in a 3 bed, 2 bath apartment on Wertland Street with two other girls (3rd years), where we each have our own room and I share a hallway bathroom... with one roommate. We have in-unit laundry, plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen/bathroom (you would have your own full pantry cabinet and plenty of under-sink bathroom storage), street parking right in front of the complex, and moped parking directly in front of the building.
The unit is very close to Central Grounds (~7 minute walk to the Rotunda) and is right by the Corner. The apartment has security amenities as well -- the building is off of the street, the building and overall complex are well-lit, there is video surveillance, and we have UVA ambassadors posted in front of our complex and along Wertland Street when it gets dark.
The room will be furnished, and rent is $1140 per month excluding electricity, which amounts to about ~$25 per month (depending on use of gas/electricity).
One of my roommates has a very friendly cat that lives in the apartment along with a pet lizard that is confined to a terrarium in her bedroom. The apartment is also smoke-free.
